Our inhaler blends are handcrafted with pure organic essential oil, individually assembled and carefully packaged with a personal touch.

The most effective way to absorb an essential oil is through inhalation of its aroma, which has a direct effect on our brain. When you inhale an essential oil (or blend), the aroma is quickly processed by the brain so that you immediately receive the therapeutic benefits of the essential oil. The aroma molecules travel through the nasal passage where they “stick” to the olfactory receptor cells in the nose. These cells send impulses to the olfactory bulb at the base of the frontal brain which then sends electrical impulses in the form of an odor and quickly processes it and responds to its aroma and properties. A portion of the inhaled molecules also reach the lungs, and from there they pass into the bloodstream, thus contributing to increasing the therapeutic effects of essential oils.

Essential oils, in general, constitute 0.1 to 1% of the dry weight of the plant. They are liquids with poor solubility in water, soluble in alcohols and organic solvents. When they are fresh, at room temperature, they are colorless, since when they oxidize they resinify and take on a dark yellowish color (which is prevented by placing them in topaz-colored glass containers, completely filled and perfectly closed). Most oils are less dense than water (with exceptions such as cinnamon, sassafras and clove essential oils) and have a high refractive index.
